x264 Links until September 2014

To save files I had to get a FEW new accounts and move some files to it and delete many old ones.
Some of the old links will still work as long as the files dont get deleted but a lot has already been deleted. So Now only 25% of the original content is available with most files over 1GB deleted to conserve space.

h264/x264 rips in Mp4/MKV format Get the Text file with the new links as of June 2014

Gives the bst display and works with hardware decoders and streaming downloading/broken files.

h264 rips in MP4/MKV files are of much higher quality than the xvid/avi files even if the file size is smaller. Also many mp4 files are newier rips and contain unrated or uncut versions as well as many english versions. I do not upload xvid/avi files any longer because you can not get good quality for the same file size. Also it seems for 500 MB you can get almost the same quality as 1 GB avi rips. The quality depends on the source so hdtv rips are as good as many dvds while vhs rips are not so good. MP4 files dont seem to handle too much noise.

Had to make some drastic changes since FF will implement new 1TB limit at end of Aug.
It did not come suddenly but they changed the rules, so now your files have to all fit in that space and does not matter if they have been downloaded or not like Rapidshare.

This is the same MP4 file list. You can scroll and select and it will open in a new window.

filenames 2

For some strange reason I am unable reply in the comments section. Must have screwed up something when I fixed my system after that virus infection. Or someone logged in a and did something to my account. Had to redo pretty much everything from scratch since doing a system restore actually made things far worse. Ended up with a 200GB system disk which only had a 100GB hardware disk on it. --- Had problems with video player creating bugs in new updates and the video showing up with a lot of blocks and artifacts in it. This was due to the codec not working properly and not doing any pre processing and deblocking. I have found a new video player that works even better than VLC. It is called GOM Media Player. The best thing about this player is that it works with hardware decoding like MPC does and unlike VLC which still has not fixed their hardware decoding really does work even with broken files as well. Which means, you can start downloading a file and play the file at the same time like streaming but with normal files. It also seems to have the best video display for now as good as using MPC with madvr. You can Download GOM Media Player for FREE from the authors site http://player.gomlab.com/eng/download/ MP4 File list until Aug 2013, Use the text file.. http://www.filefactory.com/file/5pzozs15p5q7/n/!FF-500MB-rips-Aug16th.txt MP4 File list until Aug 2013 find the list here... !FF-500MB-rips-Aug15th.txt. I have moved the MP4 folder now to another directory so people with premium can download from it without using up the precious trafficshare. 100GB a month dont allow for all that much anyway. I put the files up in both so dont use up all the trafficshare so others have a chance to get a few files as well. I know no one downloads screencaps and now its harder to download as well its there for those who look.

So much to do but so little energy to do it with. This blog is an example. I should do some work and make it at least palatable but cant seem to get to it. Someone said if I pay him $20 he would do a job on it and make it professional. But I wonder if it looks great then people would get jealous and what happened before will happen again.

Now that I am running out of stuff to upload I am putting up some HD stuff people have asked. The problem is, I sure cant up load 4-10GB files for the 720p's so I am just converting it back to 500MB, Even then they are already close to running out of space on the file hosts. No viable hosts around it seems. Even if FF removed the 500MB restriction, putting up 1GB files means half the number of files. The 500MB HD quality leaves a lot to be desired, A lot of detail is gone and at some places there are a lot of blocks when scenes change really fast. Its worse with hardware decoders like media player classic. But some software players dont work well either like VLC. So use SM Player.. Which is a totally software player but it uses a lot of CPU cycles. It seems to able to do a lot more preprossessing and shows the best quality. Thats another problem with H264, until data from the future shows up, the quality of the display will not be good. So you need preprocessing that will read ahead and then the quality improves drastically. VLC seems especially bad at this and even hardware decoders seem to work better. I have tried to limit forward lookups because of this problem to the minimum but you that means less quality as well.
