Jan 2016 testing..

Links for 2016 will use new account so links will change... Old account will now only have files from last 90 days and the older files will get deleted, I am using my backup account as my main accout now.


The files in the old account will still be available until ff deletes them...
So make a note of it and use the NEW directory...


MKV files are H265 rips.. They are far smaller than avi's and even h264 rips.. A 1.5GB Avi file using H263/xvid would convert to like a 250MB MKV/H265 file.
MP4 files are H264 rips and these are far smaller than old avi's.. A 1.5GB Avi file using H263/xvid would convert to like a 500MB MP4/H264 file.

So a H264 would be less than half the size of the avi file and a H265 file would be like 25% the size. I had to do use some filters and other work to get MP4/H264 to fit in the under 500MB FF limit. But the H265/MKV rips are always under 500MB no matter what. So they are better quality than H265 rips. But many H264/MP4 rips are fanedits.. So they contain extended edits.. For now H265 rips are straight conversions.

I am now only doing x265 8bit encodes now.. The 10bit x265 encodes seems to use just too much CPU and dont work on tablets..

The x264 rips already used 10bit encodes as that did not use the CPU as much as x265 does and 10bit saves like 5% of file size...

So Get the latest Players.. Tested with many players and all of them now work with x264/x265 and 8/10bit encodes...

x265 encodes in an MP4 container has problems with sync, especially with VLC... can be fixed but time consuming... so x265 come in MKV format...

This is the new directories for x264/x265 rips.. Use the links in this file upto Jan 2016 or use the flash applet for real time updates..

The applet has problems when the list exceed 1000 files, so if the list dont show up then use the directory link and go to the direct listing..
