Done with uploads.. for now...


End of downloading?

Seems to be the end of downloading from fileshosts, It seems now they dont provide any trafficshare or even free downloads. If they had told me this before I converted 500 files into less them 500MB I would not have wasted so much effort on them. Even had to buy a faster computer since it took almost 2 days to convert a single file with my old computer and still keep the same qaulity as xvid's.. Guess they found out the quality was rather good for such small file sizes.

I am just going to wait and see what will happen. I can not do emule type transfer since it would be too slow. Torrents would work but have to wait and see about that as well. For now only premium users can download but if others follow RS then even having a premium account is useless since you can only download 30GB for a single file. And only 1GB for free users. FF skipped all that and just went to premium directly. Maybe when megaupload comes back things will change. But until then, hang tight.. I have been too busy with other things to really care about of bother with this anyway. If nothing else it will make some people who were trying to stop it happy. Even if it hurts them worse than it does anyone else in the long run.

    Hey mmiriww, seems like Trafficshare is back again in Filefactory. Has something changed again? Anyway thanks for your new uploads and hard work in ripping and uploading them. Keep up the good work.

    No its not back like before, FF changed it to 100GB a month which is why it works for a few files only. So it will stop working once its over. It used to be 100 GB a day before instead of in a month. So its basically useless for most things.

    a great thanks mmirriw for all your posts and efforts. perhaps you can "finish off" the problem once for all converting movies to rmvb format. quality is less but for vhs teranfered "unrated"" very hard to find" movies seems to be acceptable.but the probleme returns in new movies 2007...2012.good luckand best wishes.

    Dont know about Girl Talk: Confidential. Dont watch serials.

    I would not say DW is the quality of some others since its a sd tvrip not hd quality but its better than many older vhs rips.. I will up it when I get time in the day couple of days.

    WOW now they are using rock music? I am still doing a HD version to see if it looks good but it looks like that will take until tomorrow to finish. Been trying different settings but at more than a day to convert doing the lets see if this looks better scheme dont seem to help. Even the different versions of H264 seems to look different. Need to get a much faster computer to do this.

    Dont take it so serioulsy.. They were the best host for free users and worked as long as you did not go overboard. Simple fast and easy.. Not for power users. For that you have RS now.

    I would not say recently. Only that the problem has become almost impossible to solve. I dont understand why they keep on changing things when they cant even get a basic system working fully in many years. The system has not improved since I used it many years ago. Now its pretty much useless. But since I dont actively put up stuff like before I dont feel totally down on it.
